Stockton women's tennis wins again, improves to 3-0

Richard Stockton College's Christa Phillips, Kristianne Fernandez and Christy Alexander each won at singles and doubles Thursday as the unbeaten Ospreys women's tennis team beat visiting Georgian Court College 8-1 in a nonconference match in Galloway Township.

Stockton is 3-0 and Georgian Court, of Lakewood, is 1-2.

Phillips and Fernandez teamed to win 8-4 in doubles. Alexander and Ashley Boyd (Millville) also won 8-4 in their doubles match. Stockton's Stephanie Krupa won 6-0, 6-0 in singles, and the Ospreys' Ana Estevez and Kate Bechs triumphed 8-0 in doubles. Shelly Sai also won a singles match for Stockton. Georgian Court's Natalie Grieci lost the first set 0-6, but scored a three-set singles victory. More
