Amex OKs Buena firm's proposal to stay listed

BUENA BOROUGH - IGI Laboratories is another step closer to escaping a potential delisting from the American Stock Exchange, after it was notified in May of not meeting listing standards.

The skin-care products and cosmetics maker has announced that the stock exchange last week accepted a plan on how it can meet the standards. The plan must be fully implemented by May 6.

In the meantime, IGI will be subject to reviews by Amex staff.

The company could be removed from the Amex, which lists small and mid-size stocks for trading, if it fails to make progress. More
