Band Of The Week: Monacy

If you haven't heard of the band Monacy, it's probably because they are Pennsylvania natives. Regardless of where these rock 'n' roll, funk-loving musicians hail from, they are southern New Jersey bound this weekend.

Nick Ruffini, drummer for Monacy, loves playing new and exciting areas like the southern New Jersey shore.

"Even though we are based out of the West Chester, Pa. area, Jersey shows aren't a real departure for us because we've traveled all up and down the East Coast," he says. "We mostly play in Pennsylvania, so it's nice to get out of the area and play a show in a new town - and it gives us the opportunity to meet new people." More
